ARRUN KAPOOR
Arrun is Senior Associate with SJF Ventures' New York City office.  He is a co-lead for the NY Chapter of the Clean Economy Network (CEN) and is an Advisory Board Member of the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission Green Business Accelerator.  Kapoor was most recently with Bain & Company in London and Delhi where he launched the firm’s internal green practice initiatives.  He worked with Bain’s Private Equity Practice and gained experience in a range of cleantech-related industries.  Prior to Bain, he was with a successful consulting start-up in New York and London.  He holds a Master's in International Political Economics from the London School of Economics and completed a BA from New York University with an economics and business focus.
 
MARK CURRAN
Mark is Senior Vice President, Marketing at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. He is a co-lead for the NY Chapter of the Clean Enonomy Network (CEN) and founding member of the New York chapter.  At Cooley, Mark manages firm-wide marketing initiatives in the areas of events, sponsorships, brand strategy, advertising, website, and client marketing. He also serves on the NYC Advisory Board for Astia, the entrepreneurial organization that helps start-up companies go to market. Previously, Mark served as Chief Marketing Officer at the international law firm, Coudert Brothers, overseeing business development, public relations, branding and client initiatives for the 21-office network. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with the public relations units of international marketing agencies such as Ogilvy and Grey creating business-to-business and business-to-consumer campaigns for clients including BP, Coca-Cola, IBM, International Olympic Committee, Mars, Pharmacia and WebMD. He is a graduate of Hamilton College and a New York City native.
 
RYAN SMITH
Ryan is a Vice President in the Customized Fund Investment Group. He is a co-lead for the NY Chapter of the Clean Enonomy Network (CEN). Ryan joined Credit Suisse in 2001, as a generalist in Private Equity, and began focusing on the cleantech sector in 2006. Ryan is on the Investment Committee of Masdar Clean Tech Fund, L.P., and serves as board director to Reactive NanoTechnologies and observer to Invenergy Wind, Turbine Air Systems, Crystal IS and ZeroPoint. Prior to Credit Suisse, Ryan worked on environmental policy and utility deregulation as an advisor to non-profits/ utilities and as a journalist. Ryan received his BA degree from the University of Notre Dame.
